To Make Up
Using a flat stitch join sleeve seams to coloured threads then set in sleeves.
Using a flat stitch, join center back seam to bottom of yoke.
Back and Neck Edgings
With right side of work facing and using D hook, rejoin yarn to top of center back seam and work 22sc up left side of
back opening, 3sc in the first of foundation ch, 1sc in each of next 65sts of foundation ch round neck, 3sc in last st, 22sc down right side of back opening, turn
Row 2: ch1, 1 sc in next 4sc, ch2, sk 2sts, * 1sc in next 6sc, ch2, sk 2sts, rep from * once more, 1sc in next sc, 3sc in next sc (corner), 1sc in next 3sc, ** 1sc in next 2sc, sk 1st, 1sc in next 3sc, rep from ** 10 times, 1sc in next 4sc, 3sc in next (corner) sc, 1sc in each sc to end.
Fasten of, slipstitch ends of back edgings in place.
Decoration
Peach set- Yoke- Sew on 3 buttons. Thread 14(36cm) of the white (1cm) wide ribbon into the top ribbon rowover one cluster and under the next, sewing them securely underneath at the back. Do the same into the bottom ribbon row using 26(66cm)
Bottom edge- The 2 (7cm) wide gathered white lace is sewn onto the bottom of the dress. This is then sewn one row of clusters above the scalloped edge- Begin at the back finished at the back with an overlap. Thread 44(111cm) of the white ribbon through the 2nd bottom row of the skirt, tied into a bow. Sew 2 peach roses and 2 white roses onto the gathered lace at even interval.
