Decoration
Peach set-Weave the ¼” white satin ribbon under the second row from the front of the bonnet. Cut the
1” thick ribbon in half and sew half into each side of the bonnet. Swansdown-This seems quite tricky to sew!!! , Do
not cut it to start off with, secure one end inside the hat just as the sides start (after the last back ruffle) sew into the
middle hard cord. Then pull the swansdown up over the top and really bend the cord where it comes out from under
the hat. Sew it over the top by sewing over the cord to secure it but not to tightly, more like tacking to the other side.
Then bend it under, after deciding how much you need to secure on the other side, cut it and secure. Sew 1 peach rose
onto the first shell missed on then a white one etc around to the other side.
