Requirements
3mm hook, 50g of 4ply yarn, 29” (74cm) of white ¼ (1cm) wide ribbon
Abbreviations: ch- chain, dc- double crochet, tr- treble, yoh - yarn over hook,sl.st - slip stitch, rep - repeat, beg - begining.
Cluster - yoh, hook through next st, yoh, pull through, yoh, hook through same st, yoh, pull yarn through, yoh pull
through 5 loops. Triple cluster mean repeating this stitch 3 times in same stitch
Using 3mm hook make 80ch, join with sl.st to make ring.
Row 1: 1ch, 1dc into each ch to end, sl.st into beg dc
Row 2: 3ch, 1tr into next 2sts, 1ch, miss 1st, * 1tr into next 3sts, 1ch, miss 1st, rep from * to end, sl.st into beg 3ch.
Row 3: 1ch, 1dc into each tr and ch.sp to end, sl.st into beg 3ch.
Row 4: 3ch, miss 2sts, * (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into next st, miss 2sts, 3 clusters into next st, miss 2sts, rep from * to end, sl.st
into beg 3ch.
Row 5: 3ch, * 3 clusters into ch.sp, (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into 2nd cluster, rep from * to end, sl.st into beg 3ch.
Row 6: 3ch, * (1tr, 1ch, 1tr) into 2nd cluster, 3 clusters in ch.sp, rep to end, sl.st into beg 3ch.
Rep 5th and 6th rows 5 more times
Divide for legs
1ch, * 1dc into next 3 clusters, 1dc into each 1tr, ch.sp and 1tr, rep from * 4 more times, 1dc into next 3 clusters.
Bring hook round to the first 1ch and sl.st to join (33sts)
Scalloped Edging Row: 1ch, 1dc into same st, * 1dc into cluster, 7tr into ch.sp, rep from * to end, sl.st into top of 1st
dc. Break yarn.
Leave 2 patterns on back and front for crotch and rep the edging on the other leg to match
Thread 29” (74cm) of the ¼” ribbon around the ribbon row
