Hook 4mm & 4.5mm, 40g of double knitting
Tension - using 4.5mm hook and double strand, 8dc x 9 rows to 2"(5cm)
Abbreviations: ch- chain, dc- double crochet, beg- beginning, sl.st- slip stitch
rep- repeat
Using 2 strands of red yarn together and 4.5mm hook
Make 13ch
Row 1: 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (12sts)
Row 2: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 10sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (14sts)
Row 3: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 12sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (16sts)
Row 4: 1ch, 2dc into the first 2sts, 1dc into next 12sts, 2dc into last 2sts, turn. (20sts)
Row 5: 1ch, 2dc into the first 2sts, 1dc into next 16sts, 2dc into last 2sts, turn. (24sts)
Row 6-7: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (24sts)
Row 8: 1ch, 2dc into the first 2sts, 1dc into next 20sts, 2dc into last 2sts, turn. (28sts)
Row 9: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (28sts)
Row 10: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 26sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (30sts)
Row 11-17: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (30sts) Break yarn
Row 18: 1ch, dc2tog, 1dc into next 26sts, dc2tog, turn. (28sts)
Row 19: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (28sts)
Row 20: 1ch, dc2tog twice, 1dc into next 20sts, dc2tog twice, turn. (24sts)
Row 21 - 22: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (24sts)
Row 23: 1ch, dc2tog twice, 1dc into next 16sts, dc2tog twice, turn. (20sts)
Row 24: 1ch, dc2tog twice, 1dc into next 12sts, dc2tog twice, turn. (16sts)
Row 25: 1ch, dc2tog, 1dc into next 12sts, dc2tog, turn. (14sts)
Row 26: 1ch, dc2tog, 1dc into next 10sts, dc2tog, turn. (12sts)
Row 27: sl.st over 1st, 1ch, 1dc in next 9sts, turn. (10sts)
Row 28: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end. Break yarn. (10sts)
Rejoin yarn to 5th st from where you broke the yarn
Row 1: 1ch, 1dc in next 2sts, turn
Row 2: 1ch, 1dc in each st. Break yarn.
Spout
Make 4ch, sl.st to form ring
Row 1: 1ch, 3dc into the ring, turn
Row 2: 1ch, 2dc into each st to end, turn.
Row 3: 1ch, 2dc in first st, 1dc in next st, * 2dc into next st, 1dc in next st, rep from * once more, turn
Row 4: 1ch, 2dc in first st, 1dc in next 2sts, * 2dc into next st, 1dc in next 2sts, rep from * once more.
Turn and working down the side of the rows
Row 1: 1ch, 1dc into the side of the next 4 rows, 1dc into ring, turn. (5sts)
Row 2: 1ch, dc2tog, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (4sts)
Row 3: 1ch, 1dc in next 2sts, dc2tog, turn. (3sts)
Row 4 - 7: 1ch, 1dc in each st to end, turn. (3sts)
Row 8: 1ch, 2dc in first st, 1dc in each st to end, turn. (4sts)
Row 9: 1ch, 1dc in next 3sts, 2dc in next st, break yarn.
Sew onto side of the teapot

Using 2 strands make 23ch
Row 1: 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (22sts)
Row 2: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (22sts)
Bend over length way and sew down, then sew onto side of the teapot

Using single yarn and 4mm hook, make 4ch, sl.st to form ring, 1ch, 10dc into ring, sl.st into
top of beg dc, break yarn
Sew dots onto teapot and sew in threads
