Hook 4mm & 4.5mm, 40g of double knitting
Tension - using 4.5mm hook and double strand, 8dc x 9 rows to 2"(5cm)
Abbreviations: ch- chain, dc- double crochet, beg- beginning, sl.st- slip stitch
rep- repeat
Using 2 strands of red yarn together and 4.5mm hook
Make 12ch
Row 1: 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each st to end, turn. (12sts)
Row 2: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 10sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (14sts) ,
Row 3-4: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn.
Row 5: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 12sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (16sts)
Row 6-7: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn.
Row 8: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 14sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (18sts)
Row 9-10: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn.
Row 11: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 16sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (20sts)
Row 12-14: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn.
Row 15: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 18sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (22sts)
Row 16-18: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn.
Row 19: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 20sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (24sts)
Row 20-24: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn.
Row 25: 1ch, 2dc into the first st, 1dc into next 22sts, 2dc into last st, turn. (26sts)
Row 26-27: 1ch, 1dc into each st to end, turn.
Break yarn
Using a single thread of pink yarn embroider 5 line up the tumble and then embroider once down the side of each line (so that you have 5 lines of 2). Then using red yarn embroider stars in between the lines sew in threads.
