USA Terminology

Abbreviations
ch– chain, sc-single crochet, dc– double crochet, tr– treble, beg– beginning, sl.st– slip stitch, dc2tog

Toe sole
Using main yarn, ch5 sl.st to form a ring.
ch4, 28tr into ring, sl.st into top of beg ch-4, fasten off yarn.

Heel sole
ch5, sl.st to form ring, ch3, 11dc into ring.
Holding toe sole and heel sole together with right sides together, sl.st in any tr on toe, * 1dc into ring of heel, sl.st in
next st on toe, rep from * two more times, 9dc into ring, sl.st into top of ch-3.
Edge
ch1, 1sc into next 10sts, ch1, 1sc into next 24sts, ch1, 1sc into next 9sts, sl.st into beg sc, fasten off yarn.

Right sandal back
With RS facing, rejoin main yarn to first st on heel after ch-1, working into back loops only

Fasten off yarn and sew end of row 14 into place on the other side of the toe.

Toe edging
Join main yarn to next st on the front after band on toe
ch1, 1sc into each st round toe to band on the other side (13sts), 1sc into the side of the band rows (14sts), sl.st into beg sc.

Back edging
Join main yarn to next st on the back under the ankle band, 1sc into side of each row to the heel (5sts), 1sc into ch-1 sp, 1sc into next 3sts, 1sc into the side of the band rows (14sts), 1sc into next 3sts, 1sc into ch-1 sp, 1sc into side of each row to from the heel to the top (9sts), sl.st into beg sc.

Make up
Sew in threads, using contrast yarn, embroider three stars onto the top of the band, sew on buttons to match button holes.
